The show – organised by the Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) – is Europe’s leading exhibition for the print and signage industry.

Opening the exhibition was FESPA’s inaugural ceremony, where Daniel Sunderland – vice president of FESPA’s local association in Mexico, titled Canagraf (La Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Artes Gráficas) – was sworn into office as FESPA’s 19^th president. Meanwhile, the trade show organisers introduced its new, inaugural SmartHub feature, which comprised a series of expert-led conference sessions and a ‘Smart Factory Trail’ that allowed visitors to scan QR codes around the exhibition to gain further insight into highlighted exhibitors. Organisers said the new features highlighted “the importance of using the latest technologies and software across a range of disciplines, to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency, while leveraging the benefits of digital production methods”.
