
A team of researchers have demonstrated how agricultural by-products from industrial hemp, typically considered as waste, can be remade into textile fibres.
The scientists from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona (BarcelonaTech), highlight the potential of mechanical-chemical cottonisation to transform hemp by-products into valuable fibres.
