How did fashion industry digitalisation evolve in the first half of 2024? Positivity around digitalisation and Industry 4.0 rose by almost 18% between the second half (H2) of 2023 and the first half (H1) of 2024, reports Otis Robinson.
This increase in positive sentiment was largely led by news surrounding:
- the increased adoption of trending artificial intelligence (AI) and 3D technologies in design processes;
- research and development (R&D) into digital solutions that target sustainability;
- the upcoming roll-out of digital product passports (DPPs);
- increased efforts to make the supply chain transparent.
