How did fashion industry digitalisation evolve in the first half of 2024? Positivity around digitalisation and Industry 4.0 rose by almost 18% between the second half (H2) of 2023 and the first half (H1) of 2024, reports Otis Robinson.

This increase in positive sentiment was largely led by news surrounding:

  1. the increased adoption of trending artificial intelligence (AI) and 3D technologies in design processes;
  2. research and development (R&D) into digital solutions that target sustainability;
  3. the upcoming roll-out of digital product passports (DPPs);
  4. increased efforts to make the supply chain transparent.
