
Euratex, the European apparel and textile confederation, has published an Economic update for Q4 2024 and prospects for 2025.
The report, The Textile and Clothing industry evolution during Q4 and prospects for 2025, recorded a rebound in the clothing sector, with small positive signals for the industry emerging in terms of improved business confidence.
During Q4, the report said the clothing sector rebounded in production, which was up 6.3% compared to the previous quarter, and sales where up 2.7%. However, it said textile production was down for the 11th consecutive quarter.
