H&M Foundation has collaborated with business consultants Accenture to launch a System Map, to guide the fashion and textile industry towards net zero.

Modernising fashion’s global production and consumption is a priority for the partnership as the industry shifts to a circular economy. H&M Foundation hopes to help and direct the industry towards “meaningful change”, inviting actors across the value chain to explore their role and drive decarbonisation.

The System Map was unveiled at the Global Change Award (GCA) launch summit in Mumbai, India, last year, and is now being made freely available as an industry tool, as we edge closer to the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. With no definitive solutions in sight H&M Foundation believes system innovation is the key to reaching these goals.
